The super-compact Parrot Rolling Spider is a smartphone-controlled drone which can fly both indoors and outdoors. It moves fast, keeps its balance, and can perform a range of stunts. Top tricks The Rolling Spider can perform half-turns and U-turns in a single swipe, and it takes just one click to make it perform front and rear loops. It can run up walls and across floors with its removable wheels, and features a propellers cutout in case it collides so that your ceiling light stays in one piece. Lightweight technology Despite weighing just 55 grams , the Rolling Spider is packed with technology. It uses an autopilot based on a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer to ensure flight stability, and a pressure sensor to detect the flight altitude.

An ultrasonic sensor is used for near-ground precision flying, and the speed is measured by a vertical camera at 60fps. Free-fall take-off When you drop the Rolling Spider, its engines will start automatically. Capture bird’s eye views The vertical camera lets you take photos from above whilst flying. Just press the photo icon on the control screen. The Rolling Spider can save hundreds of photos, and you can easily transfer them to your piloting smartphone or tablet. FreeFlight 3 app This free piloting app connects to your Rolling Spider via Bluetooth Smart, and is available for iOS and Android devices and Windows Phones. Parrot Cloud Connect to Parrot Cloud to share your photos and data with other pilots and upload them to Facebook and YouTube. Tickle app This fun app lets you become familiar with programming and learn how to control the Rolling Spider. The visual app helps you get the most out of your drone.
