The hugely powerful 2500w electric motor on the German-engineered Bosch AXT-25D allows a weighty 190kg of garden debris to be processed every hour, so it will make short work of tough, large-scale waste disposal tasks. The Bosch AXT-25D Quiet Electric Garden-Shredder employs an ultra-efficient drum-type shredding mechanism that cuts and crushes woody material (up to 40mm in diameter), reducing it to fine ‘chips’ with a large surface area that allows for extra-fast composting.

Drum-based cutting-systems also have the advantage of being far quieter in operation than impact shredders. This practical and convenient machine comes with a large-capacity 53-litre collector, which not only acts as a receptacle for your valuable mulch, it also serves as a storage box for the shredder itself, thereby saving you lots of space in the garage or shed.

For optimum user-safety, the unit will not run if the collector is detached. To help save time, Bosch have equipped the AXT-25D with an auto-feed mechanism, which means you don’t have to oversee the feeding-in of the entire branch. Should a blockage occur, it can be quickly freed using the touch-pad activated ‘pulse reverse’ mode.
